Myer Headquarters: 800 Collins Street, Docklands

The ten storey office building was developed by Lend Lease.

Architecturally it is basically a curtain walled cube using glass that is semi-opaque in daylight giving the appearance of solid concrete brutalism and reflective during the evenings and night time.  This form is broken only by the horizontal strip windows, an indented cornice, a vertical glass feature and open terraces on the upper south and north sides of the building. Myer deliberately chose the stark minimalist appearance to reflect its brand.  The building achieves a 5 star green rating.3
